About Our Schools
The TLC Leadership Academies encompass a dynamic network of schools and programs, including accredited and licensed private academic schools (LPAS), Alternative Education for Disruptive Youth (AEDY) institutions, and specialized in-school programs.
While some of our schools, like TLC’s Multi-District Connections and Choices programs, serve multiple districts, others are tailored to specific districts, such as Choices @ Norristown, Choices @ Coatesville, and Connections @ Chester Upland.
Our academies are dedicated to maintaining high academic standards in a safe, small school setting, prioritizing both academic excellence and social-emotional development, with a strong focus on leadership and social skills.
Implementing TLC’s Transformational Education® model, we provide individualized student success plans in small classes (12:1 student-to-staff ratio). Our rigorous academic curriculum is aligned with state standards and incorporates hands-on learning opportunities and project-based learning methods. Our state-of-the-art facility includes learning labs for students to utilize in a dynamic Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) environment.
Providing leadership coaching, as well as individual and group counseling, our programming offers opportunities and tools for students to develop leadership, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills. Counselors promote a climate that fosters integrity, honesty, communication, and motivation. We strive to instill self-confidence and drive in our students so they can reach their full potential.
Our unique educational coaching program is designed to inspire, motivate, and educate students in 21st-century skills. We integrate a leadership curriculum alongside our core classes and offer comprehensive college and career counseling. Apprenticeship opportunities are also available for high school students who want a high-quality career pathway.
Connecting with the community provides students with valuable cultural learning experiences. We offer frequent off-campus service learning opportunities to help students develop empathy and critical thinking skills while addressing genuine community needs.

The Connections Program @ Audubon is part of TLC Leadership Academies, a Licensed Private Academic School (LPAS) accredited by the Middle States Association Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools (MSA-CESS).
A Multi-District Behavioral Health Partnership Program
The Choices Program at Audubon offers a tailored alternative education for middle and high school students referred from various school districts across the Greater Philadelphia Area. By prioritizing leadership development, academic growth, and behavioral support within a safe, small-school environment, the program provides leadership coaching and personalized instruction. This comprehensive approach empowers students to make positive decisions and cultivate healthy connections with their peers and community.
