TLC Leadership Academies

TLC Leadership Academies are a network of small private and community schools with a strong focus on high academic standards, social-emotional learning, and community service. In a safe, supportive, and academically rigorous learning environment, students experience a personalized instructional program that deliberately, skillfully, and authentically engages them in a developmentally appropriate learning experience.

What does it cost to attend?

The private school tuition rate for all three programs is district-paid. For the Connections @ Audubon program, there is a private pay option offered as well. 

Who can attend the school?

For district-paid tuition, any student in grades 7-12 who are approved by their home school district can attend the school. For private-pay tuition, any student in grades 7-12 in Pennsylvania can attend the school. 

Is the school accredited?

Yes, TLC Academies are accredited. The private TLC Academy @Audubon is accredited by the Middle States Association Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools (MSA-CESS). 

Where is the school located?

The Academy @Audubon and Choices @ Norristown is located at 1100 Adams Ave in Audubon, PA. The Choices @ Coatesville is located at 2650 Eisenhower Ave in Audubon, PA.

Do you offer transportation?

School districts provide transportation for students in the Connections @ Audubon and Choices @ Norristown programs. TLC Leadership Academy provides transportation for students in the Choices @ Coatesville program.

What kind of curriculum is taught?

The school emphasizes STEAM education at all grade levels. This includes a comprehensive computer science curriculum, a dedicated STEAM teacher and project-based learning that equips students with the knowledge and skills to solve 21st century problems while developing fluency with science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics.

What is project-based learning?
Project-based learning is a student-centered approach in which students learn about a subject by working in groups to solve real-world problems.
Do you have coaches and counselors on campus?

Yes! Social-emotional learning is integrated into each day. We offer life coaching (individual and group), comprehensive college and career planning, as well as counseling for those students who need additional support.

Do you accept students with IEPs / ELL?
Yes! TLC accepts all students and do not discriminate on the basis of disability or English Language proficiency. We enroll and provide educational services to special education and English learner students.
Are sports offered?

Students are able to participate in sports activities offered by their home school district. TLC Leadership Academy provides physical recreation activities such as running, strength training, yoga, and mindfulness.

What is the staff to student ratio?
We offer small class sizes with a staff to student ratio of 1:12.
How do I enroll my child(ren)?

We are accepting students in all three programs. Please complete a separate interest form for each child you would like to enroll. Completing this form does not guarantee admission.
