TLC Leadership Academies are intentionally small 6-12 schools with a strong focus on high academic standards, social-emotional learning (SEL), and community service. In a safe, supportive, and academically rigorous learning environment, students will experience a personalized instructional program that deliberately, skillfully, and authentically engages them in a developmentally appropriate learning experience.

What does it cost to attend?

The 2020-2021 tuition rate for TLC Leadership Academy is $35,100, however there are need-based scholarships available.

Who can attend the school?

Any student in grades 6-12 can attend TLC Leadership Academy.

Is the school accredited?

Yes. TLC Academies is accredited by the Middle States Association Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools (MSA-CESS).

Where is the school located?

The school is located at 2600 Eisenhower Ave in Audubon, PA.

Do you offer transportation?

TLC offers various fee-based transportation options. However, parents are encouraged to provide their own transportation.

What kind of curriculum is taught?

The school emphasizes STEAM education at all grade levels 6-12. This includes a comprehensive computer science curriculum, a dedicated STEAM teacher and project-based learning that equips students with the knowledge and skills to solve 21st century problems while developing fluency with science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics.

What is project-based learning?

Project-based learning is a student-centered approach in which students learn about a subject by working in groups to solve real-world problems.

Do you have coaches and counselors on campus?

Yes! Social-emotional learning is integrated into each day. We offer group and individual coaching counseling, as well as comprehensive college and career counseling.

Do you accept students with IEPs / ELL?

Yes! TLC accepts all students and do not discriminate on the basis of disability or English Language proficiency. We enroll and provide educational services to special education and English learner students.

Are sports offered?

Yes, middle and high school aged students have the opportunity to participate in sports such as tennis, golf, and cross country. In the future, TLC will introduce intramural team sports such as soccer, baseball, and volleyball. Extracurricular physical recreation activities will include various clubs including running, strength training, yoga, and mindfulness.

What is the staff to student ratio?

We offer small class sizes with a staff to student ratio of 1:12.

How do I enroll my child(ren)?

We are accepting pre-enrollment applications for the 2020-2021 school year. If you are interested in enrolling your child in TLC Leadership Academy, please complete an interest form. Please complete a separate form for each child you would like to enroll. This form is designed to gauge interest and support for the school. Completing this form does not guarantee admission or obligate you to apply.
